Founded in 2011, Serenity Houses are respected throughout the industry and New Jersey as premier recovery residences. With the support of peer recovery specialists, residents are supported in goals to achieve long-term recovery. When Residents enter our doors, they typically have overwhelming life issues to overcome. Whether it be facing legal issues, regaining a driver’s license, getting custody of their children back or simply learning how alcoholism symptoms to do laundry, food shop, cook and clean….. Our recovery residences have had overwhelming success in providing recovering men and women with the tools necessary to gain back their lives. This environment provides a safe, supportive, drug and alcohol-free environment and accountability to support each other.

After the virtual/on-site inspection, the DMHA Housing Team will provide you with an official communication within 15 business days. This communication will list any required quality improvements that your organization needs to engage in prior to your application being approved.
